Dr. Robert Caper is assistant clinical professor of psychiatry, UCLA School of Medicine, and has a private psychoanalytic practice in Beverly Hills and Pasadena, CA. He is a member of the editorial review board for the International Journal of Psychoanalysis and a former member of its editorial board and that of the Journal of the American Psychoanalytic Association. He is the author of 35 journal articles and two books: Immaterial Facts: Freud's Discovery of Psychic Reality and Klein's Development of His Work and A Mind of One's Own.
