The Traumatic Stress Group is a team of researchers and clinicians who joined together in 2003 to investigate Posttraumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) and develop new treatment strategies for those with post-trauma symptoms. Members of the group are from a variety of disciplines and represent several academic institutions, including the University of Regina, The University of British Columbia, the University of Manitoba, York University, and the University of California – San Diego. A grant from the Canadian Institutes of Health Research – Institute for Neurosciences, Mental Health, and Addiction for New Emerging Teams provides funding for the group.
