 | Treatments That Work is a series created by Oxford University Press out of the acquisition of Graywind Press in October 2004. Graywind titles were for a time sold by the Psychological Corporation (a division of Harcourt -- now Elsevier) under the imprint TherapyWorks. Graywind Publications Incorporated is a small publishing company [created by David Barlow and family] that focuses only on providing quality psychological treatment programs. All of Graywind's products are empirically-supported and are written by authors who are renowned in their respective fields. Based on years of research comparing the effectiveness of various psychotherapies, these programs are recognized in American Psychological Association Clinical Division Task Force reports as effective forms of treatment for specific disorders. Graywind's systematic treatment programs describe treatment protocols in detail allowing trained clinicians to administer them in the same method in which they were proven effective so as to ensure positive results. --- from the publisher's web site |
