Introduction to Using Dialectical Behaviour Therapy in Individual Sessions

Lyndsey Davies MSW, RSW
presented by Hincks-Dellcrest Institute

Working with people with multiple, complex problems can lead you to feeling discouraged and frustrated. Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) is an evidence-based treatment that offers a compassionate way of understanding and addressing the difficulties these, often high risk, clients experience. In this experiential workshop, you will learn how to conceptualize clients’ difficulties utilizing a DBT case formulation approach. You will also learn how to conduct both behavioural and solution analyses for problematic behaviours.
