Chatto's standard edition of "The Complete Psychological Works of Sigmund Freud", first published in 1961, was an authoritative edition to which scholars and psychoanalysts turned for inspiration. It has been completely revised to incorporate current understanding of vital terms and concepts, and now contains an expanded bibliography and glossary, and new translations of previously unpublished material. The general subject index has also been updated to take account of the extra material.
