Within one book are two incredible resources that can help you to redefine your life. That sounds like a big assumption. It would be almost preposterous if I didn't know for sure that it worked. From my years of teaching therapeutic writing, I have seen repeatedly the amazing effects of this simple tool. Now, realistically, there has to be a combination of elements that come together for someone to realize healing. I know this because before I could begin to heal others, I had to learn how to heal myself. , a therapeutic writing and life strategies resource for women - is an unusual title. Where does this idea come from? My mother's side of the family is Mohawk. The powerful matriarchy of this nation resonates throughout my history, and every cell of my being. But what does it mean to have such power? This is the thread that runs through the women's section of the book and connects to the men's section which is called; , a no fluff approach to self development for men. Being brave is doing something that you thought you couldn't do. For many people this would include standing eye to eye with their inner demons or investigating the possible lessons provided by painful life events. In this section of the book, I set out very specific exercises that will not only help men to do is self development work effectively, but will help them cover the ground necessary to more fully participate in the personal development movement that has been evolving throughout the West for the past several years. Women have been leading as participants in this movement. Now it's time for men to gain the resources they need to bridge the divide between the sexes. Both sections of the book are compilations of the various exercises I have created and use through my workshops. I have taught therapeutic writing on both sides of the Atlantic, in Canada and in Central Europe, and am looking forward to more extensive teaching opportunities around the globe. It's happening! And it is truly rewarding to be of service to so many diverse people. --- from the author |
