Flux At those gifted moments when I experience the grace of total attunement with myself and the other, work becomes the common experience we create as we play as if both of us knew the script by heart, when in fact, it is the heart, that in intuitive leaps connects, and in connecting — heals. About the Author: Barbara Ponomareff is a retired child psychotherapist, visual artist and writer. Her poetry and stories have appeared in literary magazines and professional publications. She has written two novellas, A Minor Genre (Artichoke Publishing, 2003) and In the Mind's Eye (Quattro Books, 2011). The poems in this collection arose spontaneously as a result of her encounters with children in the playroom. They expand on the world of case notes by highlighting the close connection between therapy, play and creativity.
