This 32 page hardcover book features a delightful cast of characters that guide your child through thankful, encouraging and happy thoughts at bedtime. Busy bodies rest more peacefully when busy minds are calm and happy. A note from the author: “I have always had a very busy mind. Even as a child I tossed and turned at night unable to turn my brain off so that I could rest. When I became a mom, sleep became my most precious commodity. I was determined to find ways to help me manage my thoughts so I could rest better. I started practicing mindfulness, yoga, meditation and at the same time came upon a lot of scientific based research noting how positive thinking and gratitude before bedtime played such a key role in peaceful sleep. I noticed the benefits to these simple practices right away, and wanted to introduce it to my kids at an early age. I wrote down thoughts I could share with them at night. Being thankful, filling our minds with happy thoughts, and sending good thoughts out into the world all became part of our nightly bedtime routine. The best part being that my kids truly enjoyed this connection, and would ask me to keep doing it with them each and every night. I was introduced to Caroline through mutual friends at a neighbourhood craft night. I was instantly captivated by the character illustrations she created. I asked if she’d want to join forces and bring the magic and delight of her characters to turn my bedtime thoughts into a children’s book.
