Joan Borysenko, Ph.D. is co-founder and former director of the Mind/Body Clinic, New England Deaconess Hospital, Harvard Medical School. She holds a doctorate in anatomy and cellular biology from Harvard Medical School and is one of the pioneers of the new medical synthesis called psychoneuroimmunology. She is the author of thirteen books, including Your Soul's Compass, Saying Yes to Change, and Inner Peace for Busy People. She lives in Colorado.
