Camp Cope-A-Lot is a 12-session interactive CD-ROM-assisted treatment for use with children suffering from anxiety. The computer program provides cognitive behavioral therapy (based on the Coping Cat treatment) for 7 - 13 year old anxious youth. Child users advance on their own and at their own pace through the first 6 sessions, and through the last 6 sessions with therapist (coach) guidance. Users complete fun and engaging interactivities that communicate skills for managing anxiety. Along with other campers at Camp Cope-A-Lot, the child goes to an amusement park, puts on a talent show, meets someone new, speaks in public, sleeps in the dark, and experiences other adventures

Camp cope a Lot is a complicated purchase depending on what you are after and what will work best. The product is well worth the trouble. Please read everything below and, if you have any questions, please send us an email or give us a call.
In order to use CCAL, every one must purchase a base package. This comes in two versions: individual (9781888805321) or institutional (X80534). Besides the price, the difference between these is that the individual version is for only 1 therapist AND only 1 child while the institutional is for up to 10 therapists AND up to 10 children. Extra special note: There is nothing preventing an institution from using one or more individual base packages. The names only refer to the licensing and the number of therapists/children using the program.
If one needs more child licences (called Camper IDs), they can be purchased individually (X80533) or as a subscription. The subscriptions are specific to the base package. The annual subscription for the individual version (X80532) allows ONE therapist to work with up to 20 children for 1 year. For the institutional verson, the annual subscription (X80535) allows for an additional 15 therapists to work with an additional 60 children for 1 year. To reiterate, there is nothing preventing an institution from using an individual base package. The names only refer to the licensing and the number of therapists/children using the program.
Neither the individual licences nor the subscriptions include additional child workbooks (called Go To Gadgets). These can be purchased separately (1888805331) or can be PRINTED by the therapist off the CD-ROM where they are stored as a PDF.
The CCAL individual base package physically consists of 1 CD and 1 Go-To-Gadget. The institutional version is the same as 10 CCAL individual packages. Although the website says that CCAL includes a Coach's Manual, this is something that can be printed off of the disc. The disc also contains a file from which additional Go To Gadgets can be printed, as well as a relaxation script in MP3 form. The subscription terms have changed from what they used to be as of October 19, 2016.
