Esly Regina Carvalho, Ph. D. is a Brazilian-American Trainer of Trainers for the EMDR Institute and AIBAPT – Asociación Iberoamericana de PsicoTrauma. She has helped bring EMDR to Ecuador, Bolivia, Brazil, Panama, Venezuela, Cuba, Bolivia, and Angola; and trained professionals in Portugal and Spain. A published author and speaker (in Spanish, Portuguese and English) as well as a Psychodrama Trainer, Esly has integrated her Psychodrama background into EMDR training and clinical practice, presently residing six months in Brasilia, Brazil, and six months in PEI, Canada. She directs the TraumaClinic Group, a renowned EMDR training center where more than 3000 professionals have been trained since 2004; as well as many advanced courses. Esly Carvalho is an internationally recognized author in three languages. Her bestseller, Healing the Folks Who Lived Inside , integrates her EMDR training with her Psychodrama experience. She also wrote, Heal your Brain, Heal your Body , connecting EMDR therapy with pain, psychosomatic and physical ailments; and Rupture and Repair , a full case story of EMDR from beginning to end.
