Out of Darkness Film Premiere

Join us for a free screening of the Out of Darkness short film series, exploring the raw reality of living with bipolar disorder.
Plus, an opportunity to visit mental health education booths.
Out of Darkness was a multimedia project combining narrative and film to tell the story of 5 patients with bipolar illness. It is intended to be used as a tool to enhance compassion towards people with bipolar disorder and mental illness and also to provide patient and family education about bipolar disorder. The project is directly aligned with our Sunnybrook Patient as Educator strategic priority.
Master of Ceremonies, Michael Landsberg, public broadcaster and mental health advocate, will lead a panel discussion with patients and medical experts.
Parking is free (Parking Garage 1 only). Refreshments will be served. Doors open at 5:30pm.
