16th Annual Dr. L. Morley Smith Mental Health Academic/Clinical Day: "Hot Topics"

presented by Southlake Regional Health Centre

Mental Health clinicians are faced with an increasing number of challenges in their day to day practice: caseloads are larger and more complex; Issues of substance use, personality disorders, medical illness and psychosocial constraints necessitate more skilled or nuanced care. Additionally, the way we can deliver care is rapidly changing.

Please join us for an informative and inspiring day of learning, facilitated by leading mental health clinicians, as we examine some of these challenges and the way forward. This event will provide didactic learning, periods of question and answer, the choice of attending one of three interactive workshops and networking with peers. There will be opportunities to debrief some of your more challenging in-session moments and to come away with additional tools for your practice.
