Description: The Advanced Certificate Program emphasizes the conceptualization and application of Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT) principles to specific clinical populations. You will learn how to conceptualize and apply CBT treatment strategies to anxiety disorders, including Generalized Anxiety Disorder and Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder, trauma-related disorders, including Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder, and severe mental health disorders, including Psychosis and Bipolar Disorder. This certificate is designed to draw on and advance the skills and strategies learned in the Introductory CBT Certificate, to help expand scope of practice and competency in treating these conditions.
