How Reality Works and the Case for Non-Duality: Echoes from Plato’s Cave©?

Howard Eisenberg
presented by Senior College, University of Toronto

September 27 @ 10:00 am - 12:00 pm
Venue: Zoom AND The Faculty Club, UofT, 41 Willcocks Street Toronto, ON M5S 1C7

Do you wonder sometimes how and why you’re here?

What ‘here’ even is, and who ‘you’ are in the greater scheme of things?

Are you feeling increasingly overwhelmed and in despair about the world around you because it’s taken such a dark turn?

There have been many times in humankind’s history of believing in the wrong model of reality (such as the pre-ancient Hellenic belief in a Flat Earth and the pre-Copernican geocentric conception of the universe centered around the earth). Our current societal breakdown and the all too real and multiple looming existential threats are the dire consequences of another such time of believing in the wrong model of reality. (In our current case, this is known as the materialistic-reductionist paradigm.) Learn how things are not as they so seem, and about the crucial portal to the World-behind-the-world.

Howard Eisenberg, M.Sc. (Psychology), M.D., is a practising medical doctor with postgraduate training in both Psychology and Psychiatry. He has been a Lecturer and Special Conferences Coordinator at the University of Toronto, and an Associate Professor of Medicine at the University of Vermont. On a more personal level, he’s been on a passionate lifelong quest to discover the truer nature of reality. Almost half a century ago, he authored his first trail-blazing book, Inner Spaces: Parapsychological Explorations of the Mind. His award-winning new book on decoding reality 2.0 – Dream It to Do it: The Science & the Magic , is the culmination of his successful quest to learn how reality works.
