Quieting the Mind, one of the 4 Essential Practices of the Hakomi Method of Body-Centered Psychotherapy and Mindfulness-Based Assisted Self Study, is fruitful for both personal and professional growth. These Level One workships, open to anyone interested in self-discovery, are prerequisite to pursuing the Level Two Training.
The first segment is just about relaxing. Then we begin to study how our habitual concerns and worries interfere with quiet, relaxed states. As we dive into our experience and stan as neutral observers, we consciously explore and experiment with these concerns. Progressing, we learn to create a stable, well-protected and peaceful state of mind.
