Temple Grandin, PhD
presented by Leading Edge Seminars

Live Broadcast Date: Saturday, October 16, 2021
Live Broadcast Time: 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm ET

Can’t Attend Live? This webinar will be recorded and archived. All registrants will be given unlimited access to the recording for a full year after the Live Broadcast date.

Temple Grandin has long been admired for her insight and practical approaches to helping children and young people living with autism.

Treating, counselling, supporting, or parenting neurodivergent children and youth can have its rewards and its challenges. As we enter a new phase of pandemic life, many children and young people will be returning to learning in live and virtual settings. It will be a period of uncertainty, and this lack of certainty can make life difficult for parents and professionals alike. Those with autism might have even more difficulties adjusting to the upcoming realities.

In this 2-hour webinar, Dr. Temple Grandin will discuss her thoughts on the situation today. She will share her insights about returning to learning and adjusting to schedules and routines. Her discussion will also cover how to navigate learning, family, and socialization issues faced by those with neurodiversity concerns that were present before the pandemic.

This workshop will be accompanied by a live Q&A, giving attendees the chance to ask Dr. Grandin about specific experiences or challenges they are facing. As always, Temple Grandin will share her time-tested ideas and practical solutions. Her advice will help provide structure, safety, routines, and responsibilities to help children and youth successfully navigate today’s challenges.

Join Dr. Temple Grandin in this 2-hour, interactive live webinar and ask questions via video/online chat LIVE, in real time. Offering down-to-earth insights and advice along with the opportunity to connect with fellow caregivers and helping professionals around the world, this workshop will provide much needed support and a breath of fresh air.

Though all attendees will receive a certificate of participation, continuing education credits are not available for this session through Leading Edge Seminars.
