Leading Edge Seminars
Will you be ready and prepared for a whole new conversation about cannabis? Cannabis is already part of the lives of many Canadians, and many health professionals work with clients who either already use cannabis or are cannabis-curious.
Spend a day learning:
What is THC? CBD ? Sativa? Indica? What are the different combinations that are available?
What is considered recreation and what is medical?
What are the common methods of delivery?
When is it a problem?
Whats for sale at the CCBO/dispensary, the clinic or on the street?
What are the questions to ask clients?
What are the risks and benefits for anxiety, depression, trauma & psychosis?
Understanding the new cannabis landscape will help you more successfully engage with clients by knowing how to ask about and explore cannabis use. This workshop will also help you access leading edge research and lots of information you never learned in grad school.
