This training is suitable for: Anyone who would like to learn how to safely manage aggressive behaviour in children, youth and/or adults.
The UMAB certificate program is a skills-based training program that is an intensive and highly effective method of safely managing aggressive children, youth or adults. The 2-Day program begins with a breakdown of the precipitating factors of aggression, and the theory regarding the physiological, psychological and behavioural cues and changes that occur in aggressive individuals. Day three program focuses on containment, and physical restraints. There is emphasis placed on the level of intervention matching or paralleling the level of aggression displayed.
