This two-day workshop will present the theoretical underpinnings of DBT, the group and individual components, along with DBT skills from each of the four modules. Through the use of interactive lecture and experiential exercises, participants will learn how to conceptualize borderline personality disorder using the bio-social theory, the components of standard DBT, how to conduct a behavioural analysis and solution analysis of problematic behaviours, how to balance validation and change strategies and how to teach select DBT skills to clients.
