This book could be called "Richard Bandler in Action," because that is just what it is. It is mainly composed of transcripts of Bandler carrying out NLP sessions with clients. Examples include: Anticipatory Loss, Agoraphobia, Fear of Authority Figures, Worms, Chocolate, Beyond Belief I, Beyond Belief II, and a description of a series of treatments for Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder.
This book shows the ways in which the author uses humor and speed to work with clients. It gives the layman an idea of what an NLP session should be like. "I constantly joke with clients about their problems in order to cure them of seriousness, which is what locks the model down. You get serious, you get stuck. Humor is the fastest way to reverse this process. As soon as you can laugh about something, you can change it." A mine of useful information providing excellent examples of some extremely elegant uses of complex language patterns.
