About the Author:
Ernest G. Tannis was called to the Ontario bar in 1976, having graduated from Carleton University in 1971 with a B.A. and from University of Ottawa in 1976 with an LL.B. (now J.D.). He became one of the first Chartered Mediators (C. Med.) with the ADR Institute of Canada in 2001. He currently practices as a solicitor, mediator, and negotiation consultant, and writes widely in the field. He co-hosted a weekly radio series and has presented to numerous groups.
