This life coach handbook on living healthy and having a quality life has three parts (all basedon the latest research, best practices and lessons learned from personal experience):
• part I covers the foundational areas of balance and lifestyle
• part II covers the 10 areas of a person's life: Physical and mental health, Spiritual, Family, Financial, Work/School, Civic and Social Connection, Personal Initiatives, Challenges & Aspirations and a way to find your Passion Purpose, Vision, Identified & Clearly Focused.
• part III addresses the implementation of parts I and II with a realistic "work hard, get results" strategy of how to make it all happen with chapters on: organization, self assessment, commitment, motivation, decision making, problem solving, resilience, support, time, empowerment, change, excellence and 'just do it'.

As a counselor educator, I wanted to provide a self-contained source that has everything you need to achieve a healthy quality life.

About the Author::

Joseph Dear was born and raised on the South side of Chicago, IL where he dropped out of high school after 2 years. Joe was encouraged to take and passed the GED, completed junior college, 4 years college and eventually completed his Doctorate in Counselor Education from Northern Illinois University. Joe’s first job after college was with Success Motivation Institute where he incorporated many of the principles of the late Paul Meyers and Clement Stone about being successful into his own lifestyle and in 1975 began writing what is now detailed in this book. In the space of those 40 plus years, through life experiences, readings, conference attendance, numerous seminars, workshops and several research projects, Joe has put on paper the many lessons learned, best practices and results from his research. The mechanism of how to get the job done is based on the latest research on getting things done. Joe began his professional role as counselor educator in 1976. He hopes to share secrets of counselors and personal life coaches in this 550-page book.
