Psych in Your Pocket -- Great Review or Handy Quick Reference. “Great for student review or quick reference in clinical practice. Assessment tab allows for using actual rating scales (HAM-D, HAM-A, Geriatric Depression, SMAST, Edinburgh Postnatal Depression Scale, many others) to fill out with a pen, to assess on the spot, transfer to a chart, and erase with an Alco-wipe. Disorders tab provides a review of all the DSM-5 disorders, some in tabular form, correlating to DSM-IV-TR. Typical treatments are covered, including PTSD. Drug Tab covers all commonly prescribed psychotropics, is up to date, and covers essential information, such as use, dosages, common side effects, geriatric considerations, and important assessments and alerts. Rounded out by crisis tab, including military and families, as well as a Geriatric Tab and a general Tools tab. Each tab includes a tab index as well as an overall index at the end of the book. Easy to carry with you and useful as a quick reference as no one can remember everything.”—Online Reviewer
