Conducting Psychiatric Consultations

Consultation-Liaison (C-L) psychiatry focuses on the interface between mental and physical illness. Successful consults require an understanding of: the patient, the reason the referral was made, the consultee, and the C-L service itself. This text was written to provide readers with a practical, concise, and enjoyable introduction to conducting psychiatric consultations.

This book is condensed from:

Sigmundoscopy: Medical -Psychiatric Consult-Liaison, The Bases (ISBN 0-9680324-5-1).
