About the Author:

In the early 1990s, Tamsin Cottis co-founded Respond, the UK's leading agency for psychotherapy and counselling for people with learning disabilities. Qualifying as a child psychotherapist in 2011, she has since worked in London primary schools and in private practice, supporting children and young people with diverse needs. She is also a clinical supervisor to therapists practicing in the UK and abroad, Tamsin has written widely about her work. She lives in London, UK.
