She currently works at the Arc of Walker County in Jasper, Alabama where she provides early intervention and outpatient pediatric therapy. She is a member of the Alabama Early Intervention ICC and serves as the financial chair. She also serves as a fieldwork instructor for the OTA program at Wallace State Community College. Previous experience includes public schools and psychiatric settings with children birth to 18. Karen is certified through Western Psychological Services for instruction and administration of the Sensory Integration Praxis Test. She is an ILS service provider. Karen is the co-author of Classroom Strategies for Children with ADHD, Sensory Processing Disorder and Autism.
