This user-friendly training manual will meet the needs of peer program and prevention program professionals by providing step-by-step instructions for setting-up an evaluation program. It addresses the essential components of the evaluation process and guides professionals through the planning, development, implementation, and data collection stages. The authors establish a rationale for program evaluation, explaining how it differs from research, and discuss ways to align the vision, mission, and goals of a program.
