He has appeared on radio and television and published in a number of periodicals including the Canadian Psychiatric Association Journal, the Canadian Medical Association Journal, the Globe and Mail, the Toronto Star and Peace Magazine. Dr. Leith attended medical school at the University of Western Ontario in London, Ontario, Canada and completed a residency in psychiatry at McMaster University in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada and a psychiatric fellowship in Behavioral Medicine at Dartmouth Medical School in Hanover, New Hampshire, U.S.A.
