About the Author:

Spencer Punnett, of Ormond Baech, FLA., is certified by the Florida Supreme Court to mediate civil disputes at the County and Circuit Court levels. His law degree is from Northwestern University School of Law, where he served as an editor of the Law Review and was awarded the school's Lowden-Wigmore Prize for Legal Scholarship. Mr. Punnett has been active in the American Bar Association for many years, where his leadership appointments have included: Co-Chair of the ABA Litigation Section’s Book Publishing Board; Editor-in-Chief of Litigation News; advisory board member of the ABA Commission on Disability Rights (then called the ABA Commission on Mental and Physical Disabilities); and Vice Chair for Education of the ABA Dispute Resolution Section’s Mediation Committee.
