She has been involved in exploratory and intervention research on clinical issues including behavioural disorders (e.g., ADHD), emotional disorders (e.g., selective mutism) and developmental disorders (e.g., ASD). Dr Clare Kwan is a clinical psychologist with an interest in mood and anxiety disorders. She has successfully treated children with selective mutism and is familiar with a range of therapies including DBT, CBT and narrative therapy in individual and group therapy. Dr Daniel Fung is a child psychiatrist at the Institute of Mental Health's Child Guidance Clinic. He is currently the Chairman of the Medical Board of Singapore's Institute of Mental Health. Amongst other things, he is also currently the Vice President of the International Association for Child and Adolescent Psychiatry and Allied Professions. Dr Fung is active with the Singapore Children's Society where he received their Platinum Service Award in 2017. |
