CMI partnered with Parent Map to bring you this rare event that is part of Parent Map's Lecture Series.

Dr. Jon Kabat-Zinn is the world-leading scientist, researcher and meditation teacher who brought mindfulness to mainstream society. His internationally best-selling books include Wherever You Go, There You Are; Full Catastrophe Living; and Everyday Blessings, co-authored with his wife, Myla.

This inspiring presentation is highly applicable to clinicians working with families, as well as for parents, parents-to-be and grandparents. Share with your clients how parenting with mindfulness can enhance the wellbeing of children and parents alike, and bring greater empathy, acceptance and respect for each child’s unique being into family life.

Using guided meditations and simple practices, Myla and Jon will explore how the cultivation of mindfulness in daily life can help us to tackle the struggles we may face and be more present for the joys and simple pleasures that are inherent in parenting and family life.
